Guest phytosan Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 I have a motorola mpx200 for some time now and must say that this is the most practical thing on the planet. Especially when integrating on the SBS2003 server platform with Microsoft exchange it is unbeatable. There are two things that I feel are flawed and I'd appreciate if you could link me to remedies where available: New mail: the ActiveSync new message counts does not consider new messages that are placed in a sub folder of the inbox. I use Exchange rules to organize my stuff and only get notified of the stuff that is left behind. Is there a little tool or tweak? If not how difficult would it be to make one. Tasks: The tasks are really really crappy. Where is my alert for due tasks on the home screen. Where is information of who assigned tasks? Any better tools that are recommendable? Lastly one general question: If Microsoft did such an excellent job in Exchange Server integration why did they stop at the notes and tasks and only synchronize calender, mail and contacts through exchange. funny it seems to stop short to what would be a perfect world. cheers PHYTOSAN
Guest James Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Welcome to the Site.... Tasks: you may wat to look at Power Tasks from HERE. Sorry, I have no idea about the mail question. (maybe someone else?)
Guest phytosan Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Thanks for the hints I'll install the power tasks tomorrow. Anyone else with an idea on the other issues? Cheers Arved
