Guest ultimasnake Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Well after one of my earplugs of my default e200 headset broke down i and almost gone crazy because of the "sound-nosound-sound-nosound" that it had as result i was thinking of using a normal headphone on my e200 though i know there are adapters for this usage i still wanted to be able to use the microphone and that didn't seem possible. So i started working on a Modification The ingredients *An origional Spv handsfree headset *A JVC ha-cd60 *some guts ^_^ After taking it apart part by part and trying out somethings i managed to get the entire thing working ALLONG with the microphone... though it seems that the volume change on the headset seems to be a bit "broken" it works but still leaves some sound on the right channel but i don't mind. The result also (note) gives me a GREAT BASS on my music.. no baseless stuff anymore here some screenshots...buitenkant origioneel.jpgbinnenkant open.jpgbinnen kant klaar.jpgresult.jpg
Guest gnagis Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 here in sweden that thing goes on the resit or how i spell it.. so like if it gets broken you can just pick out a new one in the store for free ^_^
Guest ultimasnake Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 hey gnagis... welllll might have be possible here too just was too lazy to exchange it and i thought the headphone quality was crap anyway so i decided to start modding :D I will make a schematic on what i did for you all once i get the time ^_^..
Guest Chaser81 Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 I use the 2.5mm to 3.5mm headset adaptor that comes with a HP IPAQ 1940 along with a decent pair of Sony earphones. Saves on the modding time and sounds great!
Guest ultimasnake Posted October 26, 2004 Report Posted October 26, 2004 true true... but i also just wanted to remaing using it as a handsfree kit ^_^ not sure if you can do that but I guess not :D... but still it's one of the ways to do it.. there are more roads that lead to rome :P oh and the satisfaction level of making this was HIGH... it feels so good when you try and mod something and it even works :P
