Guest sbimev Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Hi guys, I was wondering whether there is some kind of office software to be able to read Word and Excel files.
Guest James Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Yes mate, its called ClearVue From HERE
Guest chucky.egg Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Wow, you would have thought somebody would have asked that before now! ^_^ It really does make sense to use the search button. sbimev waited nearly 4 hours for an answer they could have got in 2 minutes if they'd used the search.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Shame there is not a way to edit them though ^_^ One day I hope for excel and word on the phone, one day :?
Guest sbimev Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Thank you guys for the advice. And yes Chucky I could have searched, I appologize!
Guest chucky.egg Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 I wasn't trying to pick on you, I remember what it's like when it's all new and you need some help getting started. My point was that when people are new their first thought is "post a question" rather than "try a search", and newbies miss out on stuff that could help them quickly because of that. I'm not suggesting you shouldn't post. Anyways, welcome to the site
Guest larsdennert Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Orneta Notepad is a good freebie program if you want to create a document.
Guest BrAGoL Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 there's also a Wordpad app that is also a freeware... Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest rickt Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I purchased Repligo from Cerience a few months back and it views word docs , powerpoint files , but I have'nt tried excel files. The program comes with a converter and a viewer and was'nt pricy at all. update : yes you can view excel files on your SPV , just converted a whole page of computer componant prices and sent it to my SPV.With Repligo you can view the whole page or zoom to to sections by percentage. A very good adition to have in your program list . Sorry for the bad quality of pictures , its just to show what I meant by zoom:twinpix.jpg
