MMC card format problem

my friend has a MMC in her N-3650, I used to browse the MMC file without problem.but now my SAP is asking me to format it to browse the files. so we copied all the files from MMC to the internal memory of the her phone N-3650. then this time I pressed yes to format her MMC. but when pressing yes, the result was "an error occured formatting the storage card folder (error code 1400)

if you have a card reader u can use that to format ur mmc...
