C500 update and hard reset

I wonder what happens after you installed the update for the c500 and you do an hard reset - which version will be on the phone after the reset? The orininal one or the update?

The update changes the rom version, a hard reset won't affect this

so that means after the hard reset you still will have the new rom, that's correct? That means also that you can't go back to the old one once you have installed the update?
