Guest nikjensie Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 So, I've tried to get an answer by looking through posts and using the search in the forum, with no success. Like so many others my Qtek 8080 is useless with a bluetooth headset. Did anyone find out about a fix for this? The headset crackles and sparkles when just 3 feet away from the phone. Does any of the ROMS fix this problem?` Best Regards Nik
Guest daky Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 I tested my Jabra 250 with 4 different phones and it crackles with all of them. Even within a very close range it is hard to hear and my callers always complain about the deafening background noise. I guess that BT headsets are not what they promise they are.
Guest schaggo Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 My father has a Jabra 200 and it works perfectly with his SE T610 and it did with my old Nokia 6600. I think I have to check it's functionality with my Qtek 8080...
Guest dazza12 Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 I've got the same problem with my E200 and a Plantronics headset. Also the Motorola carkit dongle thing. Tested both on my old Nokia 6310i which worked a treat, even when across the room. On the SPV E200, if they were anything more than arm's length sound quality was noticeably bad. Just to check, I tried my brother's SPV E200, and it seems to be a common problem. As I tend to use vehicles other than my own car during the day, bluetooth is important to me. It is frustrating to say the least. Looks like you are stuck with this problem - I tend to use the wired headset most of the time.
