just bought a spv 500 and im well pleased with it apart from 2 things.

when i go into settings and click on date and time all i get is ERROR the settings could not be opened. and the same when i try to open orange help.

im not worried about orange help but would like to get to the alarm clock.

can anyone help please

The promlem you are having is caused by an error in the registry

the easiest way to fix this is to do a Hard Reset this will wipe the phone and restore it back to it's factory settings.

Click on the words Hard Reset for more info.

mine did the same also, and i discovered it was because i had my short date style set to "10.09.04"

setting it back to any other format worked - and i could get to my alarm clock !

thanks a lot...i can know set the alarm.

just got to work out why i cant get the orange help
