Guest along Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 Does anyone know where the voice tag files are stored so I can manually delete them? I noticed that when I delete them from the speed dial application they are deleted from the list and from the contacts but if you activate voice command and say something that should have been deleted, it is still recognized (you hear your previous recording) but no number is dialed. If you record the same name again - sometimes it will still recognize the old one and not dial any number. Any ideas?
Guest jpalmer99 Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 Did anyone ever find the location/files for the voice tags?
Guest bronksy Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 check your speed dials.. they're listed in there. Logically  hope this helps.
Guest jpalmer99 Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 I was hoping to see the file sizes of the voice tags. I believe they are stored on the phone and not the storage card and I would like to see how much room they take up.
Guest bronksy Posted December 21, 2004 Report Posted December 21, 2004 well.. i guess if you were that bothered ti find out you could remove all your tags, look at the amount of memory you have, then record one, and see how much the memory decreases. I would imagine it's not much.. unless you have thousands. I would imagine that there's a set length that each tag can be, and it wouldn't change depending on how long the name is. You could try it with some long and short names, but I reckon that it's really whether you are using them or not, rather than how long they are. Could be wrong though! R
