IE continue to download while doing something else?

Will IE continue to download a web's content if I hit the home screen botton and try to do something else, like update my contact, add appt. changes settings, ect. I don't want to waste the minutes of waiting for a page to download and not being able to update my appt. Thanks.

Yep. Although I'm sure that by now you would have actually tried it and found out for yourself ^_^
