Guest BillyR Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Since the upgrade? myC500 does not recognise my Bluetooth headest. Anyone any ideas? Orange did not know and tell me the upgrade has since been removed from the website. They have not contacted me with a fix yet.
Guest firstandlast Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Since the upgrade resets the phone you have probably lost the partnership between phone and headset. Put the phone in discoverable mode, set the headset to discoverable and when asked you will have to input the password the headset came with. (If you can remember it :? ) I had to do this with the PC and my headset. Paul.

Just in case I did change the passcode or something clever like that I have tried all my normal PINS. After that I rang Orange who were their normal helpful selves. They appeared to just panic and then promise to ring back and then did'nt. As per all my previous fixes it is down to sites like this and trying whatever you can think of. The only change is the upgrade. I am going to run the upgrade again. Unfortunately for me the other upgrades have registered other faults but an improvement in their bluetooth!
