Creating Startup and Shutdown sounds

How do I assign startup and shutdown sounds?

Where in the registy do I edit? I've tried looking in HKCUControlPanelSoundsSystemStart but not sure what I'm suppose to enter. If I was to place a wav file eg. startup.wav into the "Application DataSounds" directory, what exactly do I place into the registy?

I'm quite new to all of this, so any help would be very greatful

First, create a folder on your SD card (or anywhere else on your phone). Put the sound you desire into the folder.

Then do what you did with the registry, but change the 'Directory' to the folder that you created just now. Voila...

what do i put in the registry, how do I point to the storage card or to the phone memory?

eg. Storage Cardstartup.wav

Application DataSoundsstartup.wav

is that the correct notation or storage card and on the phone?
