I have a problem because when I start with the syncronization from desktop data to the C500 I have an error message and If I see the .log file there is this problem: 25/10/2004 23.36.57 Communication init failure: CeRapiInvoke: 0x80070002 Logging a warning. Fatal Error 400a. Sync Finish 25/10/2004 23.36.57 =============================== Someone know the solution!? THNX.
Guest oturn Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 I had a similar issue with my Audiovox SMT5600. After contacting Ilium Software, they provided me with a custom synch engine which fixed the problem. They were going to post the new synch engine on their website. If it doesn't work for you, just send them an email or give them a call. I've found them to be very helpful.
Guest rintys5 Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I had this problem on both my C500's. Download this from Ilium, which is the sync engine for the phone and re-install it. That should solve your problem. More info at Iliums webpage here
Guest TEXMudder Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 SplashID from SplashData uses ActiveSync which I thought was slicker. They have a new version that works with the SMT5600 so you may want to check them out.
