1. smart explorer is suggested although the native program does allow with some difficulty after selecting the send by ir option if you have bt activated and ignore align device prompt

2. press and hold call when in call to activate speaker phone

not that intereste in mp3 ringtones and expansys do have an accessory pack.

Hi Jim thks for the quick reply.

1. It does has an Ir but if thats the way then it is too cumbersome

and not user friendly.

2. Tried the method you advise but did not work.

Call in - it only asked "Accept" or "Reject"

If you hold the "Accept" key it just hold till you release then it is an

answer call option.

Afterwhich, if you goto the menu to activate the "Hold" key it do just

that only meaning to put the line on "Hold".

I might be misssing something here ?

Do advise if you have details. Thks again.

Sorry about the delay in getting back, however during the call, if you press the green button for a few sacond you should see a second handset icon in the icon bar which indicates the speaker phone is active

Hi Jim

Did that too but still the function elude me.

Maybe - need to do something in the profile - Automatic perhaps will try.

One thing great though - have found to make the ringtones.

Need to copy WMA and WAV files to StorageApplication DataSounds

and eureka !

:)

Basically was told and indeed from the manual too.

To use as a speakerphone :

Adjust volume to loudest prior answering incoming call.

To concur, there is no "speakerphone" icon status therefore no activation mode.

Why didn't I think of that !

duh !

Ok just conquered the speakerphone mode.

I stand corrected - the XphoneII does has a SPEAKERPHONE !

To activate :

Receive or Accept as per normal either using the soft accept/send key or

the talk/send button.

Afterwhich,

Press and hold the talk/send button.

Yup Jim you are correct on that part
