Using Tera Term Pro, I am not allowed to save the individual pieces of ROM. I am told to use the ALL option, but it fails with a security warning too...

When I try the mentioned backup menthod it just wipes my SD card. Any suggestions?

I think you need to use an MMC not an SD...
