Guest squall Posted October 27, 2004 Report Posted October 27, 2004 could be a sticky voice record button - poke it a bit and hopefully all will be well
Guest kid2701 Posted October 28, 2004 Report Posted October 28, 2004 Unfortunately that does not help - the button works well
Guest BrAGoL Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 did you try to re-flash it again with the orange rom? Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest kid2701 Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Yes... Just in case for three times. No result
Guest BrAGoL Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 i bet you need to use a repair card for it... but you still need a working unit with the orange 1.6 rom... Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest kid2701 Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 could you explain more detailed, please?
Guest BrAGoL Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 it's already discussed in one of the forums here... forgot where it is placed... hmmm... darn this slow internet connection here in the office! will try to search the procedure and let you know how to do it... later! EDIT: saw some procedure like this; I removed the phone/pc rebooted during the update/downgrade, is my phone dead? You can try the following: 1) find a friend with a similar phone, and a spare sd card (about 32mb). 2) open USBTerm, and backup bootloader to sd card. 3) backup GSM and CE to sd card. 4)place sd card in your broken phone, and reboot. 5) The broken phone should prompt you to download the PBOOT,GSM and CE. 6) Press the action button. 7) Wait (it takes about 5-10 mins) until it says it has passed all 3 options. The phone will now boot. you can then run the original phone manufacturers update to get your phone running properly. in here, http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=89282 as posted by Mod Will in the FAQ section ^_^ Posted from my SmartPhone!
