Does the new update allow you to sync after Orange Restore?

As the title suggests.....

Previously if you had used Orane Backup to Backup your data and then used the service to Restore your data (i.e. contacts) to your phone then when you try to sync data with Outlook it would hang and not sync the data. Has this been resolved in the update?

My phone arrived with the update already installed, but when I used orange restore and subsequently tried to sync it wouldn't work. take your chances I suppose.
