Mutli day events on the homescreen

Hi,

Anyone know how I can show a multi-day event on the homescreen? this would be one that had a start date of say 25/20/04 and an end date of 28/10/04. Currently, it is only shown on the first day (ie. 25/10/04).

To make this more general, the calendar plug in is a bit limited. Ideally it needs to be able to:

- Show more than one event

- Show multiday events longer than a day

- Show all-day events in advance

- Show end-times (optional)

Is there any way of writing our own calendar plugin?

Lcd plugin is the only one I know of that lets you see multi days but it scrolls through them 1 at a time I think it shows the next 5 events and also shows all day events.
