Guest psl Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Hello all, Okay, I'm a novice to all this Smartphone stuff. I've never even connected my phone to my computer before... Anyhow, got a SPV C500 yesterday and it would appear that I can't send or receive photos or ringtones through bluetooth. I assume that Orange have removed this feature so that I'm forced to send photos through MMS and pay them. Anyhow, I've heard that I can download software onto my phone which can sort this all out. Problem is, I've no idea what this software is, where to find it, how much it costs or how to get it onto my phone. If there is anyone on here who can assist me here (and I'm quite sure there is...), I'd be very grateful. Actually, whilst I'm asking questions, is there any way I can get text message delivery reports to give me the name of the person I've texted as opposed to the number?! That's really annoying! Thank you anyone who jumps in to help!!
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 What you need is Binary's Smart Explorer available here. It's only $8.99 which is a steal so you may as well get their other application, Task Manager, which is even cheaper at $4.99. Both are considered essential replacements to the preloaded efforts.
Guest Confucious Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Why can't you just copy the photos/ringtones onto your phone from your PC using internet explorer when connected via BT?
