mapopolis on C500 or SP3 - tested anyone with BT

Hi, I have seen Mapopolis and downloaded the BETA for Navigation. It even allos you to connect your BT GPS receiver. I like the concept of downloadable maps etc. Has anyone managed to connect successfully their C500 or SP3 using bluetooth to the reciever? I tried everything incl. of course serial BT activation etc.

Yes, it's working for me and several other people (although there is an issue with it sometimes saying it can't communicate on COM7). Have a search for mapopolis and bluetooth and you should find the answer to that issue and general setup advice.

If it's a new problem then post the details of what the problem is and we might be able to help you through it

Once I had got my Fortuna ClipOn communicating with the C500, I had no problem with Mapopolis.

I am using my C500 with Mapopolis and the TomTom BT GPS without any problems; only 2-3 times / month the BT communication is not starting, then I have to restart BT on the mobile, start Mapopolis again and everything is ok then!
