Guest donnyvito Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Can the Orange SPV C500 play .3gp files that I have encoded in quicktime pro? i've tried playing them in Betaplayer and PocketTV, but either of them don't play them. Anyone know of any software for this phone that will play them?
Guest Confucious Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Just copied a 3gp file to my phone and selected it in File manager and it is asociated with "album" and plays no problems. HTH
Guest shadamehr Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 3gp files work fine on the C500. You can even now record video yourself in that format, in that 3gp is just a 'container' format, and the phone allows you to now record, as well as normal avi, in h.263 or mpeg-4 format, both of which should allow the file to be played back on other DUMBphones that play 3gp video, like nokia, and motorola V600's etc.
Guest Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 Windows Media Player on the SPV E200 plays them so I suspect it will on the C500.
