developer(s) needed please

i found this open source program while i was surfing the net and this program allows you to play all those old dos games on ur new pc's (most dos games wont work with win XP/2000/me etc...). i remember reading that this program can easily be ported and it has been ported to mac and ppc and other formats. can anyone else get to grips with this and let me know if it can be ported because that will be amazing for the smartphone if this program was ported... sorry if i posted in the wrong place because i remember back then there was a wishlist but i cant find it now.. pity i dont know programming :-(
