Guest Confucious Posted October 29, 2004 Report Posted October 29, 2004 Do you have ActiveSync on the computer? What computer is it?
Guest lavazza1977 Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Hi Barker, I've got the same problem with mine, but I found the solution: the C500 needs an important current on the USB port. When you use a hub or a motherboard with a weak USB controller, the C500 will not take the charge. The only way is to plug it into a strong USB port, without a hub ( for example, via chipsets don't support everytime strong charges on themselves, like usb modems ) Sorry if I've made mistakes, cause I'm french and my english isn't very clear, I hope you to understand.
Guest BrAGoL Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 and AFAIK, if the mobo allots 500mA for the USB ports, it is distributing it equally on every device that is attached into every USB port... Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Roland Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Is this the 5600 or the C500? For the 5600 it seems to need Activesync installed to get the signal. Using two identical laptops, one with Activesync, one without, only the Activesync laptop will charge the phone.
