Guest shaggyguitarist Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 this isnt really a question, rather an observation. Tonight the clocks in the uk went back 1 hour at 2am. I noticed that the time automatically went to 1am after 1.59am. How cool is that!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 The wonders of Windows ^_^
Guest Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Not many other phones manage to do that for you!
Guest izzyK Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 My clock stuck at 1.09 am. I wondered if it had anything to do with windows unsuccessfully trying to switch the time. The phone was switched to FLight Mode. I can't see how that could have anything to do with it. Did this happen to anyone else?
Guest stretchie Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Mine came up with a message to say had changed the time.. Sure enough it had.. BUT when I get text messages it still shows the time +1 hr
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 SMS sent time is set by the sender, not the reciever
Guest stretchie Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 Aha.... THat would explain it.. Cheers
Guest Samsonite Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 my E200 did a similar thing... Got up this morning to the phone showing 1.09 in the clock window... Obviously having read this, i now know it's not a bug, its a feature!! ^_^) just changed the time in the normalway to London GMT and all fine till next spring i presume!! Hopefully by then, the bug fix will be out for my new shiny upgrade, whatever it is!!!
Guest Montana Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Really? mine just started smoking out of the speakers, made a loud noise and blew up.
