Guest VovaVovaCuma Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 All movies I have recorded on my C500 are really slow. Does anyone knows where can I download some software which can make movies faster? Even in 6600 are movies faster. I think its really big disadvantage!
Guest RT87 Posted October 31, 2004 Report Posted October 31, 2004 I changed my registry so they are recorded at 20+ frames per second instead of the usual 10. The files clearly have more frames but don't know if it has improved quality. If you interested get PHM Reg edit and then goto software -> HTC -> Camera (i think..) and there you can edit different frame rates of video capture. AVI-JPEG also seems to give me the best performance.
Guest VovaVovaCuma Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 Thank you very much. I am gonna to do this, I hope it will work. Cause now movies on C500 are really slow...
Guest myjess Posted November 1, 2004 Report Posted November 1, 2004 I think, but will stand corrected that movie capture speed, number of frames per sec depends on lighting levels. I thought that I was capturing better in daylight with a smoother frame rate than indoors. Would this be correct?

I thought that I was capturing better in daylight with a smoother frame rate than indoors. Would this be correct? I just recorded in a light area (all be it artificial lighT) and it recorded at 22 frames per second. Then in a dark area with no light it was 27 frames per second. If you are recording with night mode you may find that its slower. So, i'm not too sure.
