Guest dapunk Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 this is kinda wierd, i use pretty big .wav ringtones that i have created on my own. they are in the correct folder and always play fine but on occasion, when i get a call the ringtones sound really bad, not nearly as clear as normal and also not as loud. a power on and off fixes it but i cant seem to figure out what causes it. at first i thought maybe over time the processor gets bogged down when the phone have stayed on for a long time and trying to play my 1MB ringtones is too much work any thoughts??
Guest Confucious Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Have you tried reducing the size of the ringtone? As the answerphone cuts in, the ringtone doesn't need to be too long and i use a low sample rate and mono for ringtones as the speaker is only mono and qulity isn't usually that vital for ringtones. just my 2d's worth I've not had any problems myself.
