Can I use the SIM which came with my Orange K700i in a C500?

I recently got a K700i but would like the C500 and my wife is due a free upgrade. Would I be able to just pop the SIM which came with my K700i into the C500 with no problems?

I just wondered because everyone who recevied one of these phones also got a new SIM card as well....

Yes you can if its orange. If not.. unlock it on florin_m's site for £20 and use o2 or voda or tmobile. ^_^

Okay cool thanks for that (my SIM is an Orange one), has anyone managed to blag a silver one from Orange who hasn't been on a premier price plan?

Also are there any other advantages to getting the phone unlocked other than using it on different networks? Are there restrictions on software you can install for instance. Sorry if this is answered elsewhere....
