in car charger problems E200

mine and a friends e200 will not receive a charge via car charger even though every thing indicates too it being connected ok please help

Is the car charger adaptor rated high enough?

What type of adaptor is it ie USB cigarette type?

the in car charger is standard cigarette adaptor too phone bought fron ebay supplier do you reccomend any other type ???

That is the same type I have. I have two units one is only 400mA

and the other is about 650mA. Depending on the current draw needed

to register that charging is taking place could be the problem.

I know I could only have one device plugged into the 400ma unit (I use a split lead to charge phone and GPS unit at the same time) otherwise the phone would not charge.

Good job my car has three charge points I can use.

I have noticed that my C500 has stopped charging in the car now, but I

know others who say their C500 never charged :?

My E200 does charge and that appeared irratic sometimes but this was because my sync and charge cable connectors are getting worn.
