Guest leeph Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 Why is it, that with the SPV C500, some applications will recognise there is a passthrough (activesync) internet connection available and use that, and some others won't? For example, MSN Messenger just defaults to using GPRS even when sync'd to my desktop and with other apps using passthrough. In internet explorer you can force it to use the passthrough connection - is there any way to do it for MSN? leeph
Guest liv3wire Posted November 26, 2004 Report Posted November 26, 2004 in your data connections is internet set to use pass through?
Guest Cartol Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Same thing happens to me on my e200. I use passthrough perfectly with internet explorer but can't connect with msn or even IM messenger, it always keeps asking to use a gprs connection!
