Guest Virginia Posted November 2, 2004 Report Posted November 2, 2004 I can only think that when unlocked, instead of ringing numbers without me knowing, my E200 must have been in contacts and has added 61,401 blank contacts. After synching, I had to delete from Outlook on the computer, then separated the valid contacts from the blanks for synching. Now I'm stuck - how do I remove them from the spv contacts? I can't get into the contacts folder on the phone or through explore in synch - and of course it is absolutelly clogged up???
Guest boysweek Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 if you deleted the unwanted blank Contacts in Outlook on your PC, they should be automatically deleted from your SPV when you next sync. Steve
Guest Virginia Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 I'm afraid I tried all that, but it did not work. I feel rather stupid because all the fiddling I did with my old spv and I thought the e200 would be the same ie. hard resetting to sort out major problems. I didn't realise that there is a Clear storage on start up menu in accessories - that is what worked. Thanks for the time and help
Guest boysweek Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 hey - don't feel stupid. Technology sometimes gets the better of us ^_^ Steve
