Bluetooth on this phone is a feckin joke!

I was driving tonight, the phone was locked with it's 1 min lock, could I get a call out, could I feck! I had to stop the car, unlock the phone and even then probably cos I tried so many times, I still could not get the phone to ask for a voice dial when pressing the BT switch.

The headset icon was on the screen. When I manually dialled the number using the contacts list the phone would not give me sound thru the BT headset, sould not give me speakerphone, until I turned off hands free in the menu while the call was in progress.

AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH.

Bluetooth is so you can dial and talk when in the car(one major use anyway) and HTC, ORANGE screw it up.

Voice dialing is quick and easy, clarity is superb. The only problem I had was having to re-pair the devices after the ROM upgrade. Other than that, works great!

so has the rom update fixed the problem of being unable to dial out (even on BT or wired headset voicedial) while the phone is locked?

The update has not fixed the problem of BT voice dialling when the phone is locked. As far as I'm concerned that's the only outstanding issue with the phone and as things go it isn't a show stopper.
