Guest jason634 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 The # key is hard to get to with one hand. I'd like to make it the * like in my Nokia is that possible? :?: thanks, jason
Guest RT87 Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 Hey. Do not think its possible, maybe you have stumpy fingers.. i don't find it hard.
Guest TEXMudder Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 I've been a Nokia user for a long time so I too find the # funny to use. I guess I'll have to get used to it.
Guest Djarid Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 it is really annoying to me as one handed (I have large [not stumpy  ] hands) I have trouble getting from the left soft key to the #. one way around it is to use a 1 digit pin... this allows you to unlock the phone in the same number of keypresses. It is a work around I use!
Guest Chaser81 Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 I wonder if it would possible with a registry tweak? Paging midnight to thread 61....
Guest shaund316 Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 I had nokias but now when I use a nokia I keep pressing # by accident
Guest myjess Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 If you setup the automatic phone lock to kick in very quickly, when you lock the phone using the red handset button and it is really the * that is suppossed to unlock it, as soon as the auto keylock takes over after the preset time that you previously setup, then the auto keylock password (one key if you wish) will be the one that you need to press to unlock the phone again, the * is no longer valid. Hope this helps.
