Guest dragomia Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 HTTPMail Provider is an add-on software for smartphone outlook that allows you to download e-mail from Hotmail, MSN or Lycos accounts. There's no need to run separate software on your desktop to enable e-mail synchronization, the only requirement is that you have an internet connection.
Guest Cantello Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 I tried the trial but could not find any documentation for setting it up with different providers. I would need lycos.co.uk, but in theory it should be possible to use any WebDAV provider, right?

There is a commercial product (MailEnable) that offers HTTPMail support. For lycos.co.uk you need to set the incoming and outgoing server names to http://webdav.lycos.co.uk/httpmail.asp (just as you would with the desktop outlook) Adrian
