I discovered that holding the 'home' key for a couple of seconds on the C500 reveals a quick list menu. This is not the same quick list as indicated in the manual (the one used to change profiles).

When accessing this list, by default you are presented with just two options:

1. Disconnect GPRS

2. Bluetooth Setup

Quick and easy way then to do either of the above but I assume there is a way to add to this list, making it easier to get to commonly used apps etc? I have searched through the menus but can find no way to do this.

Anyone have any ideas?

AFAIK there is no way to change/add to these and the 5600 in the USA doesn't even have these!

Seems a bit of an oversight as this would have been a useful inclusion on the c500 (and its variations).

Is there an alternative for creating a favourites type menu from where you could quickly access your most commonly used apps?

Thanks for the response ...

It would be nice, the moto MPX200 has the quick list menu when you press the home key.

Has anyone found a way of adding to this list, maybe via a registry change?

You could always add speed dials to most programs. Even easier if they are already on the start menu.

or you could use Hotbuttons Plus which is the best solution I found to this little issue. Excellent program and well recommended!

Hotbutton Plua is excellent. It's as close to "Alt-Tab" as you can get.

Thanks again

I haven't tried Hotbutton Plus .. but personally I use X-Bar which works excellent. Both the free version and the commercial one.

I know that the commercial one lets you alter which programs you "link" to .. but I haven't used the free one in a long time, so don't know if this one has that feature as well.
