Problems with SD cards in Qtek 8080

Hi people, im a new user but i read modaco.com about 5 months.

My problem is the next, im buy a gps (rikaline 6030) and i need a SD card for insert the maps here. Yesterday i buy a 512mb SD card (kingston), but doesnt work correctly, the smartphone cannot write on the card.

I speak with the shop when i buy the card and the men say me: "ok, give me the 512 sd card and i change you to 2 cards of 256 (pyn) , but we insert the card and... doesnt work.... :evil: .

The men say me to test with mmc card , probably doesnt work with SD CARDS my mobile.... ?¿

Can you help me people?? my smart have http://www.qtek.se/files/1.9.14.1.zip rom, please help me!! thanks , sorry my english, is not very good. THANKS.

Is better to change to other different rom? because i think is posible a bug of the rom i have, help me please!

you could try formatting card using a sd card reader. Some sd cards do not work. many do

Finally i have the sandisk SD card 512mb.

Work without problems, perfect!!!!

I dont recommended kingston cards in qtek 8080, doesnt work good.
