Guest yaya Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 I thought this would be a cool and useful application on my E200. Can somebody develop a mobile media 2003 application that will allow E200 owners to tune their Guitar or any other musical instrument by using the application? Requirements: 1. Automatic mode: a. Auto Note selection – the application is required to read (actually listen) and identify the note and highlight it on the note scale (C, D, E, F, G, A B, #) b. Single Note selection – the application is required to read (actually listen) and identify the note and display it on a meter (from -50 via 0 to +50) 2. The GUI presentation should use visual led a. Tune (Green = tuned) b. ß (Red = not tuned) The application should take control over the mic and accurately analyze the sound of a note – this is not easy I guess… That will do the job and make many users happy. Thanks Yaya

Guest McHale Posted January 2, 2005 Report Posted January 2, 2005 Here's the best guitar/piano tuner I've ever used. It's freeware and for the PocketPC. http://www.frequencytuner.solcon.nl/ I've emailed him about porting it to the MS Smartphone. Haven't gotten a response yet. I'm tellin' ya. Once you use this, you'll see why it's the best at any price. -Mc
