How do you free up memory?

Got a C500

Total memory: 21.62 MB

Available memory: 3.15 MB

Anyone know if it's possible to free up memory? I've looked around in the phone, but cant really find anything. And anyone know what's using up the memory? Is it windows CE system files?

That's the Program (ROM) memory you're looking at.

AFAIK you have no control over it.

What you should be looking at is Storage (Flash) info - scroll down a bit when in Task Manager.

Total on mine is 27.98MB with 19.77MB free.

Install everything to the storage card and keep ringtones & skins stored on the phone itself to a minimum. I also delete all SMS & emails after reading.
