Can you still switch to Virgin OVP?

Soo... I've had my mpx200 on an Orange contract for 12 months now.

I changed my contract to an OVP in month 5 to a slightly lower rental, but my overall charges are still at the ~£50-60 mark.

When I called today, I was told my contract was now expiring in April, apparently the change reset the contract dates?

Could I still switch to Virgin OVP having had 12 months of contract?

Or does it need to be expired?

Do Orange even offer it any more?

Your contract date should not change. After so many months you are allowed to change as many times as you like.

Darn, looking at the archives, it seems Virgin OVP is no longer an option :lol:

I changed in April, so that would have been 4-5 months into the contract..

Looking at it now, it's now 6 months that they want you to stay on the same contract, whereas before it was 4 months (ie when I purchased the phone).

Can the contract be changed like that?

I got a call last week from osps asking if I wanted an upgrade, so I said a c500 would be nice.. Unfortunately I got sent a new number kit, so I'm wondering what to do now (I don't particularly want to go through the hassle of sending it back)..
