Pocket Streets 2004

I have pocket streets 2004, however Australian Maps are only out in version 2005..

I have downloaded these 2005 maps and they work fine on 2004 except that i cant use Pushpins or search for addresses..

Anyone know how to get around this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
