C500 signal meter and slow text input!

Hi all'

I have a couple of problems with my new C500, could you C500 owners let me know if the following happens on yours or do you have any ideas what might be causing the problems on mine?

Problem 1) The signal strength meter goes from full to half to none and repeats this over and over, only occasionally will it give a constant or consistent reading. It doesn't seem to be the area cell as it happens at work and home and they are 30 miles apart. The operator logo never displays searching... so I don't think it ever looses the network. Any ideas?

Problem 2) Inputting text into SMS's has quite a delay at times when using multitap method. Any ideas?

Have you tried updating the ROM on your phone yet? This tends to fix little software glitches like this.

Mine too, has the wierd signal meter thing, before and after update

My rom ver is 4.1.1.4, which i believe is the latest.
