Guest Dunx Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 I like many others have been having problems getting my new C500 to sync via Bluetooth. I have read all the various threads regarding other peoples solutions, none of which work for me. I have noticed however that there is a difference between my E200 and C500 settings within Activesync on the phone. On the E200 there is an option for Bluetooth hidden away here: 1. Open Activesync 2. Click Menu 3. Click Options 4. Click PC settings 5. Click Menu 6. Click Advanced 7. Click the box with the connection type in it. This will bring up a list of connection types available on your phone. The E200 (which I can still get to sync) has the following listed: USB Bluetooth 115200 38400 19200 However my C500 has the same list but is missing Bluetooth, when I try to connect via bluetooth the phone doesn't even try to connect; no doubt this is because it doesn't have bluetooth in the connection types. I'm afraid this isn't a solution for my fellow no-sync'ers but it does seem to be a difference between an E200 phone that works and the C500 that doesn't. I've spent hours trying to get this thing to work  Maybe those of you with working C500s and those that don't could comment as to wether this could be a problem common to those who can get it to work and those that can't. I may be way off the mark :?: Hopefully those of you with more knowledge about these phones will be able to help.
