Mouse2Mobile.com wants to change my settings?

My c500 (Orange) flashed up a screen advising that I need to enter an authentication code to accept some device changes.

This prompt appeared automatically - I did not receive a msg to open.

Anyone have any ideas? - Is this an Orange sent "thing" or someone being a smart ar$e ?

I think mouse2mobile is some sort of marketing "group" and they can send out connection settings to use their WAP gateway or something (dunno, I never actually used it)

If you don't know what it is about say "no"!

But if you've recently been on a website (not necessarily mouse2mobile) and asked for it then say "yes"

I just got through to Orange..... :shock:

.... Eventually, someone had a vague understanding & confirmed that they are using mouse2mobile for distributing WAP/GPRS etc settings to improve access. :shock:

Orange have confirmed to me that I should accept this authentication next time it is prompted. : :shock:

I got this as well it creates a Orange gprs wap setting in data connections you can go back in and change it to orange csd wap if you need 2
