Guest inthecity77 Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 I am about to buy a card reader/writer to use with my spv c500 mini sd card. two questions (soz if i sound thick!) 1/ Can I buy an SD card reader and use the mini SD to SD convertor i got with my card? or do i need to buy a dedicated mini SD card reader? 2/ When it says 'card reader' does that mean it writes also?
Guest Disco Stu Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 Fair enough questions mate  1. Yes, the adaptor will let you use the usual card readers. 2. Yes again, you can copy anything between PC & phone with the reader.
Guest maxmix Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 Grab yourself a nice little card reader/writer from www.ebuyer.com you will get one for about £8  Will work great with the SD Adaptor... If you want a direct link to the ones I use from there email me :D maxmix
Guest csd1uk Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 hey guys just a question. are pretty much all the SD card readers the same or are come better than others?
Guest Confucious Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 I bought a very cheap 8 in 1 card reader (a longtime ago so can't remember where from) and have had no problems using MiniSD cards in the adaptor. So long as the reader is USB2 then there is not a lot to them.
Guest csd1uk Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 thanks yeah i was thinking that there couldnt be much else different in them apart from USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 Thanks again, if you read this be good if anyone could have a look at my application unlocking problem in help and advice. TA.
