Guest blogbuster Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 Hello, I'm going to use the unlock site this evening to unlock the Orange SPV C500 'have trade it to a P900, I found my p900 a wunderfull device but it was to large to care and handle with. Now I have 2 questions one. what's up with the device / app lock and can I get rid of it. Can I install the retail software and not the orange one. I'm on vodafone and don't like the start up logo with orange in it. That's all i hope I will join this group often. (I know for sure) ow yeah, can you use mp3 as ringtone such as the p900? -> nevermind used the help.. you can't  Thnx again for the feedback
Guest crafty Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 >follow this link to the Orange Developers Site to app unlock your phone. When you've done that you should be able to install absolutely anything on your device. There's no way to get rid of the orange start-up screen i'm afraid

Guest maxmix Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 @crafty.... If you get a registry editor you can change the Orange startup screen to anything that you want... As long as you keep your Pic the same size as the Orange boot one  maxmix PS If you need the 'step by step'.... LMK :D PPS The C500 will work a treat on Vodafone.... Wap can be easily set up too and removal of the Orange badge on the handset, is very easy !
Guest Confucious Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 and removal of the Orange badge on the handset, is very easy ! Only if you have a sugar cube
