Is there a faq or tips and tricks for the 5600? I am a newbie for this phone and to the smartphone community... had some previously, but never really used it due to their size.

I'm itching to use this phone but I dont' want to keep asking so many questions;)

Is there somewhere where there is a faq?

Such as how do I use the radio?

how do I transfer files to it?

is there AIM for the smart phone?

what are the great power applications for it?

how do you sort contacts by FIRST name rather than last name?

how do i do one-touch dialing / speed dial for my contacts?

where can I download nokia-style ring tones (ie: for the ring ring and text message) so i can make my phone sound like a nokia?

THere are more, but this is what's burning on the surface

Thanks!!

To answer some of your questions:

Such as how do I use the radio?

The phone doesn't have a radio.

how do I transfer files to it?

Install ActiveSync on your PC, connect the phone to the PC using the supplied cable then explore the phone under Mobile Devices.

what are the great power applications for it?

BetaPlayer is the killer app. It allows you to play DivX movies on the phone.

how do you sort contacts by FIRST name rather than last name?

You need to change how the contact is displayed. Edit the contact and change the "File As" option.

how do i do one-touch dialing / speed dial for my contacts?

Go into the contact, Select Menu > Add Speed Dial or Menu > Add Voice tag

Thank you phil for the replies!

I didn't know the phone didn't have a radio - i could have sworn I read that the 5600 did.

Sorting by first instead of last - that means I have to edit each and every one of the contacts - is there a way to make this change throughout the phone book instead of each and every one?

one touch dialing - when i select a contact, a local outlook contact OR a SIM contact - i get the following menu when I click menu:

1 new contact

2 new sim contact

3 delete

4 beam contact

-----

5 filter

I don't see an option to add speed dial....?

Ringtones - record your Nokia ones and save as WMA files. You can use any music/sound you like.
