Guest scrosland Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 I notice that i-Mate have updated their support pages for the JAM here. In there it says:Q: What are the Main Differences between the i-mate™ PDA2k and JAM? The JAM: - Contains similar software and has similar performance to the PDA2k. - Is much smaller and lighter for carrying, as no slide-out keyboard. - Integrated 1.3Mpixel camera. - Comes bundled with Media Player 10 for audio and video files. - WLAN802.11b capability using optional SDIO card. - Includes a new generation of Intel processor. - Microsoft Bluetooth stack rather than Widcomm. - Easier access to landscape mode screen display using on-screen icon. Is that different Bluetooth stack going to be a problem? I keep hearing bad things about the MS stack as used on some of the other smartphones. Thanks, Simon
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Time will tell, but the C500 has the MS BT stack, as does the M1000, and I find them fine... P
