Hi!

Anyone know what pre-installed apps included (in ROM) of any Smartphone 2003?

It will vary according to the operator / model.

For example, the Orange C500 has IA Caller ID, simple file explorer and task manager (which were not preloaded onto the 2003 E200), MSN Messenger, Windows Media Player and all the usual gubbins.

What are you looking for exactly ?

Oh, I see. Actually, before investing with lots of file manager (explorer) software, I was wondering if their built-in file explorers are Bluetooth transfer-capable?

No, you'll need Biinary's Smart Explorer for that.

It is ridiculously cheap though.

Gee. So that'll make two file managers existing on a Smartphone, right? Hope IA Style plans to add Bluetooth file transfer on their next update soon...

Thanks!

BTW, is there some way to remove those pre-installed apps?

There's no simple way, as they're included in the ROM nowadays.

It depends if the apps are on the ROM image or not.

Motorola MPX200 new comes with Caller ID and JMMS but these

are removed by doing a hard reset.

With the C500 for example the file manager etc will not be removed.

It just depends on the ROM and the app.

Oh, wait. If doing a hard reset on an mpx200 removes those apps, how will they ever come back?
