Bizarre. The only review is, ahem, interesting...

HOORAY!!! Steelsoft is a great app for the price that keeps the screen on my Nokia 7610 light and bright. No longer do I have to keep clicking after 20 seconds to turn the light back on. There's nothing fancy about it. Click it on and my screen stays lit; click it off. Simple as that! Exactly what I've been looking for!!! Thanks, Steelsoft.

High praise indeed...

But it also implies that the app is for the Nokia 7610, which is a lovely phone, I'm sure, but it's not relevant for this forum.

Thats ridiculous !! is there any demand for this app ? if so i will make one in .net CF, it takes literally 30s to make an app like this (probably about 10mins in C++).

At least, I'm interested in this feature in the GPS usage use case.

I also think this should be a default feature of the GPS software...

But if it takes you 10 minutes to code, then I'll take it

The way I see it is ala bttogler, meaning, you have a program that either enables always on light or puts back the handset in normal mode.

Probably not *s*

But such a program already exists ... enabled it turns the backlight on always .. and disables it sets it back to 10 seconds I think! I'll have to do a search to find it though!

Okay it's called Back Light Toggle

>>MoDaCo

Two version .. one with 5 secs and one with 10 secs!

Haven't tested it on C500 though!
