Guest caninecashew Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Hi - Just got my M1000 from Orange. When you press shift on the keyboard and get the 2nd characters the default is a $ sign. I would prefer if it was a £ to save going to the 123 menu. Is it possible to change the character set to reflect your location (UK)? Also I can't seem to find the question mark on either of the keyboard menus (I am using the small buttons). Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers
Guest Confucious Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Are your regional settings (Start->Settings->System) Set to English (United Kingdom)?
Guest caninecashew Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 thanks for the prompt reply - yes they are.
Guest Confucious Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Sorry, I've just checked my PPC (I don't use it since I got my C500) and unfortunatly it too has an American rather than UK keyboard so it looks like it can't be changed (unless, of course, someone else knows better).
Guest Disco Stu Posted November 10, 2004 Report Posted November 10, 2004 Guys, you could try posting this question in the MoDaCo Phone Edition forum (see link top-right of main page) and see if someone there can help.
