HTC Europe describes tss bug as: System hang under OS

After a few days as promised HTC deliverd my beloved C500 back to me describing how they had fixed the "tss" bug. And with the demo file they had uploaded on to the phone there was indeed no noise! :lol:

My excitement soon faded however as the first mp3 i downloaded on to the phone had the tss noise. :cry:

After describing to them in detail the symptoms of the tss bug, the problem they describe reads: System hang under OS.

HTC managed to "fix" the problem with a "Re-Flash ROM image" although obviously that hasnt worked, or at least it worked for them. Or maybe this was just a standard repair procedure? who knows. any way i think im just going to have to live with it.

That is quite intresting here, why didn't you keep on posting on tss thread?

I have been checking it daily for replies.

Re-Flash ROM image, this is all they found they could do.

So if it was fixed for a while then i assume that this is no more a hardware problem but a ROM bug.
