unable to voice record on smartphone 2003

For some reason My voice recorder on my smartphone 2003 stopped working.

When I hit the voice record button once it shows me a list of my old recordings.

If it hit it again it beeps three times and does nothing.

I have plenty of memory left and even tried deleting some of my old recordings and get same results.

I think this happened shortly after I put in my new SD card.

Anyone else had this problem?
